The Call of Cthulhu: Strange Altitudes is a one day adventure set in the uncharted wilderness of the Alaskan Mountains.

Tragedy befell the Douglas World Cruiser attempt at a flight around the world when the Seattle crashed into a mountaintop in Alaska last Wednesday.  A team of experts is being sent to find the wreck and discover what went wrong.
On the morning of April 6th, the Seattle took off from Washingon to attempt a rendezvous with her sister planes as part of the Douglas World Cruiser attempt around the world.  Officials at the Nome International Landing Field reported the Seattle missing 3 days after she was supposed to land for a scheduled refueling and maintenance check.  It wasn't until nearly a month after her departure that pilots Abel Warren and Charles Heidenwiess made their way out of the Anaktuvuk Pass and back towards Civilization.
A United States Army Air Service spokesman has stated that both pilots are in good health and that a statement from them is forthcoming.  In the meantime, a USAAS sponsored investigation team is being sent to the Brooks Range of the Alaskan Mountains to find whatever clues they can about the Seattle's unfortunate demise.
