1000 point Limited Force Organization (1 HQ, 2-4 Troops, 0-1 Elite, 0-1 Fast, 0-1 Heavy, 1 Floater (Troops, Elite, Fast or Heavy)
Played on 4x4 tables
Max number of participants: 10
Entrance fee: $10.00
Prizes: Best Overall, Best Sportsman, Best Painted. ($40, $25, $25 respectively....all prizes in GW product)
Tournament Rules
You must use the same army for all 3 games.
Warhammer 40K 5th edition rules will be in effect.
All models do not have to be painted, but paint scores will be factored into the overall results.
Tournaments are for fun and poor sportsmanship will not be tolerated (also see the Unique Gifts & games house rules for Sportsmanship).
You can only use one Force Organization Chart
No trial/optional armies or rules will be used. If you have a question, please clear it with me BEFORE you show up for the event.
No Imperial Armour units or list of any kind.
What you see is what you get (WYSIWYG). If a model is armed with an item, it must be shown on the figure. So no saying that chainsword counts as a powerfist.
You must bring all the materials needed to play including: dice, measuring device, templates, models, and any rules that you will be using.
Jungle fighting, Cities of Death, and VDR rules will NOT be used.
You must bring at least 2 typed (or printed) army lists. One for the judge, and one for your reference. You MUST share the list with your opponent before the game starts.
Max points: 82 points
Battle: 42 (max 14/game)
Sportsmanship: 15 (max 5/game)
Appearance: 25 (10/judge, 5/opponents)
Tie-breakers are as follows: Total points -- Wins -- Head-to-head Sportsmaship Paint Judge decision.
Sign in/Army setup for paint judging: 11:15 AM
Dice roll at Noon.
Games will be 1 hour and 20 minutes in length with a 10-minute break in-between.
We will have a short (30 minutes) lunch break between first and second game.

Now is your chance!! Throw in a few smaller support units and the battle rages!
Gameplay Overview
Monsterpocalypse is played in turns alternating between each player. Each player starts the game by taking a Unit Activation. Then for the rest of the game on your turn you choose to take a Monster Activation or a Unit Activation. Each type of activation breaks down into distinct phases that must occur in order.
A Unit Activation consists of:
The Spawn Phase, when your units in Reserve can enter the battle map.
The Advancement Phase, when your units advance.
The Attack Phase, when your units make attacks.
The Push Phase, when you may move any unused Action Dice into the Monster Pool.
Monster Activation consists of:
The Power Phase, when your monster can Power Up.
The Hyper Phase, when your monster can turn into its Hyper form.
The Advancement Phase, when your monster advances.
The Attack Phase, when your monster makes attacks.
The Push Phase, when you may move any unused Action Dice into the Unit Pool.

Here are the official rules for the Fantasy Tourney:
Saturday, November 15th
$10 entry fee
1500pts.
10 player max
4' x 4' boards
3 rounds, 2 hours each, with a lunch break.
Round 1: 11:00 - 1:00
Break: 1:00 - 2:00
Round 2: 2:00 - 4:00
Round 3: 4:00 - 6:00
All lists are allowable except Storm of Chaos Lists.
Theme: Disney World Rides!!

Overall winner: $40 GW product
Best General: $25 GW product

However, a painting score will be applied to your OVERALL score!!

Points
350pt in the form of 1 warcaster/warlock and his battle group of warjacks/beasts.
You can only have one list and must use the same models in every game.
No substitions. But unpainted models are fine (although I reccomend painted models because it's cooler). Bring 2 copies of your list cleary printed with point values. One for the judge, the other to show your opponent.
Rounds
At least 4 rounds (possibly 5). Each round will be 45 minutes long. At that time 'last round' will be announced. At that point players will finish whatever game turn they are on and thats it. Victory will be through killing the other warcaster/warlock, killing all the enemy warjacks/beasts, or if time runs out decide by victory points. If we need a tie breaker at the end the player with the more non-vp wins.

We have the official tournament prize package from Privateer Press. Which includes a metal coin for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place.
